This is for the edification of the church (The Body Of Christ). You dont have to be in physical building or even have a pastor to start a chruch. The act of gathering with other believers is in itself church.

Woman at the well

7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Poeple might mock and scorn you now for following Jesus, but one day they will wish that they had listened to you when their eyes are opened; It will happen just as some of the pharacies and Romans repented after the earthquak at Calvery and Christ reserection.

11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

John 1:4 NKJV "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men."

Jesus Christ is light and if the world had only known how great it is to know Jesus Christ they would understand why we fight so hard even up to the point of pursicution. If you truly believe that you are going to heaven and are forgiven your sins you, then why do you sit there and whatch your brother stumble unto distruction. As a believer you are called to pick up your cross and follow after him daily.

Faith Produces Works

James 1:26 NKJV 26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. James 2:18 NKJV 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. Matthew 15:8 NKJV ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Alot of poeple claim profess themselves to be Christian but are they really? Sure you can go to church on Sundays, read your bible every now and then, and just do everything you would expect a Christian to do, but if your hearts not behind it its all meaniningless. Just because you go to church 1 day a week and listen to a pastor speak for an hour dosnt make you a follower of Jesus Christ. Theres a big diffrence between playing religion and genuinely seeking after our Savior.

God knows the heart

James 1:26 Religion is useless without works. In other words what you believe dosnt mean anything if it dosnt produce some kind of change in your life or action. Its not by our works that we are saved but if one does not bear good fruit he looses his proof of salvation. One might claim to be a believer, but if they go around and set a bad example they make a mockery of Christ.

Paul explains this in Hebrews

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Revelation 3 niether hot nor cold a tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut 7:17-23

; James 2:18; James is a good book; Do not do works to be seen by others; Pray in Secret; Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. Mathew 7:21-23
